Artist Sophie Walbeoffe often set up her easel on the streets of the Old City to paint her large canvas pictures. As city residents would walk past in an array of religious dress, Sophie would record them in her sketch book. Upon leaving the city, Sophie put these sketches together to make a portrait of the different people who make up the residents of Jerusalem.
